Give Kids The World!
One of my top objectives is to help raise money to send children with a life-threatening illness on their dream holiday to Orlando Florida, where they will visit Disney World, Universal, SeaWorld and many other central Florida attractions. A once in a lifetime chance.
Thanks to the help of Give Kids The World (http://www.gktw.org/) , a Florida based Charity, where families can stay on a safe, gated villa estate, with all the facilities they need, this dream can become a reality.
On site where the families will stay in villas, there are all the facilities needed for parents to feel more relaxed on holiday and not have to constantly worry about their child. From pools to mini golf, to specially adapted play parks and cinema that all can access, to huge parties daily with visits from Disney/Universal characters. The fact that their daily tickets and transport, as well as meals are included it saves parents having to panic and stress about the holiday, and just enjoy it instead.
Since these children have a life-threatening illness, the fact Give Kids the World have a 24hour doctor on site also lifts a huge weight off parents shoulders too.
I had the chance to visit the site on my holiday in April 2017 and they really do think of everything. Having welcomed over 150,000 families in its 32 year history they really know what they are doing.
However, since the cost to send each family is so high we need to raise a lot of money for individual families.
